Bio

Julian Torres was born in Hawthorne California to Mexican parents who instilled love for Mexico’s music and traditions since he was in the womb. As a child he was inspired to become a Mariachi Singer and began his career singing in community events and church carnivals. He has traveled and performed in many prestigious venues both in the US and abroad, across many stages such as: Disneyland, Downtown Disney, Dodger Stadium, Sábado Gigante, Carnegie Hall, the Hollywood Bowl, Fox Performing Arts Theater, Ford Amphitheater, Teatro Metropolitan, CDMX and for our military troops overseas in Okinawa, Japan.

One of his proudest moments was to sing both the American and Mexican National Anthems in the presence of his parents at Dodger Stadium. Another highlight was to sing for the 2022 MLB All Star and Celebrity Games.

He is also passionate about music education. Coming from a family of musicians and educators, has taught him the importance of teaching the next generation of musicians about our culture and traditions through music.

He is excited for what the future has in store and is thrilled to share his love through music.
